Cabinet Makeover

Remember that cabinet I saw on Craigslist? Well.. we did end up getting it. I have just been delaying on fixing it up. But I finally got around to it! Yay!

Before:

I loved the wood too much to paint over it. It had a bunch of scratches so we needed to do something. So we decided a light sand and a stain would be the perfect fit.

After a light sand and some staining, then took scrapbook paper and spray adhesive for the backdrop. Got new knobs from Hobby Lobby and lights from Home Depot. TA DA!

Here's the new makeover:

All that awesome wood detail is still there too!

We also installed in some lights. (Sorry this photo was taken with my cell phone & you can see that we had to install the baby safety lock too)

This cabinet looks great! I'm just starting to get into staining things. For some reason it intimidated me for a long time.

Thanks for stopping by my blog the other day!

I'm glad you decided to give her a new coat of stain instead.......we can't paint everything some things are just meant to be left alone and this is one of them. Nice to have found you, your newest follower.
