The Supplies:
I have always been "eye it" type. So I took the notepad and used that to measure my main piece of fabric. I cut 2 pieces exactly the same.
- I used my handy dandy notepad for measurement again for the fabric. I cut three strips for the piece to the notepad, one to hold the crayons, and the other to use to secure with the button.
- I made an elephant template out of paper and used that on the felt.
- Then sew felt elephant on one first piece of fabric and attach button.
Sorry, it's blurry, but the next picture will explain that.
This is to show you all the pieces of fabric together and the placement of it before I attach the two blue pieces together.
Sometime around this point, I had another problem to deal with.

A hungry baby!
After that, I actually sewed three sides of it, and put some stuffing in the middle to make it puffy.

I even took it for a test run and it was successful.

So cute! This looks interesting enough for my little one to actually stay on the paper and not my walls!

Thanks for linking up to craft and tell! This is so adorable!
This is so cute! It would be a perfect "busy bag" activity for my (almost) 18 m/o little boy!
I was sad the other day though because his teacher said that he needed to work on his coloring - as in he didn't want to color! He would just throw the crayons down on the ground! We've been working on it at home and now he loves it and asks to color! :)
AH! I just saw the pic of Cooper and it got me suuuuper excited!!!!!
Too Flippin' Cute!!! Sounds like something this grandma needs to have available for the grandbabies :-D
