Handkerchief Bib

I have been living in Texas for a year now.  I think it's time for me and the family to fit in.  I decided to start with my son.  He's a great guinea pig.
Here he is modeling his handkerchief bib on a chair you might recognize.

Here's how I made this super easy bib.
Supplies:

Sewing machine
Scissors
A handkerchief
Fabric

First, cut the handkerchief in half so you have two triangles then sew down the part you cut.

I laid the handkerchief on top of my fabric to measure.

I turned the fabric I cut inside out to sew the ends but left one side open to flip it back.
I turned the fabric back to the original side. Then I matched the handkerchief side and the side I didn't sew on the fabric.  Sew those two pieces together.

Then sew the other ends with a zig zag stitch.

Dawww. Your little model is ADORABLE. The bib is so cute and he definitely looks a little more like a tiny cowboy. ;)
