The Mullet

This is a sad story about a little boy and his beloved mullet.
Ever since the beginning my son never grew that much hair on top of his head.  Then he would turn around to show his long curly locks. Personally, I adored his Joe Dirt mullet.  My husband, the Marine, not so much.
After the 30th time someone mistaken him for a little girl, I gave in.  It was time for his first haircut.
"Ma... what do you mean they are cutting my mullet?!"
He didn't even recognize himself.
He no longer looks like a baby now.
And no more mullet.
Sad, sad day.

Aww Kim! Eliza has a mullet that I desperately want to get rid of but my husband refuses. It is different since she is a girl but it is BAD. We have started to just wear pigtails so no one can tell!!

Awww! I loved the mullet! But... all good things must come to an end, right? ;) Hope you saved the locks from his mullet!

Ahhh! What a little cutie! I love that they have a car to sit in at the barber's. What a good idea!

Aw! Funny, but I understand the "sad" too. Recently I saw another blogger post about her baby's "Skullet." Poor kid only grew hair in the back. Hehe.
