Guest Blogger: Mister G and Me

This lady is taking a little break from blogging.  But don't worry!  I have lined some really awesome bloggers to stop by.  Let's start this next week off with Ashley from Mister G and Me! Here's Ashley!

Hello Sasse Readers!  My name is Ashley and I blog over at Mister G and Me!  I'm so happy to share a DIY project with you today!

Have you ever felt amazing after working out only to realize you have to run to the grocery store now and you look a fright?  Sounds like you need an "after-gym" bag!   Before you think about buying a cute little pouch to hold your freshening up necessities-- take a look around your house.  I bet you have everything you need to make one!
You will need:
Reusable shopping bag
Zipper
Sewing machine and thread
Scissors
Pins
Cut out 2 square or rectangle pieces out of your bag.  Pin your zipper to one piece.
Sew the zipper to the material.  Pin the other piece to your zipper and sew.
Your pieces should look like this.  Then pin the sides of your pouch-- but not the bottom!
And sew both sides.
Important: Open your zipper before you sew the bottom!
Pin and sew the bottom of your pouch.
Looking good!  Cut the corners like this.
Then trim the sides.
Turn your pouch inside out.
Don't worry-- it will look pretty messy for a minute.
Ta-da!!!  Stuff your pouch with your favorite things to freshen you up after a workout-- mini bottle of fash wash, mini moisturizer, deodorant, and lipstick, mascara!
Easy, green, and functional!  That's something to feel good about!

I have lots of other DIY projects, crafty ideas, and recipes on my blog, Mister G and Me!  I'd love if you would come and say hi!  A big thanks to Kim for having me over today!  xo, Ashley

How cute is that?  Thanks so much for coming by, Ashley!  Stop by to see who will be here to tomorrow.  You won't be disappointed.
